Earthquake Geology Network Listserver (EQ-GEO-NET)

The listserver is the most efficient way to send a message or annoucement to scientists with interests in paleoseismology, active tectonics, recent crustal movements, neotectonics, archeoseismology, and other r esearch areas within the broad field of earthquake geology. Information about future meetings, new publications, and new findings are welcome and will be distributed to all subscribers of the listserver by email through the Internet. The listserver is especially useful for rapid dissemination of information about the effects of major earthquakes soon after they occur.

To subscribe to the listserver: Send an email message to mailto:eq-geo-net-request@gsjeq.gsj.jp
with "subscribe eq-geo-net" in the body (not the Subject line) of the email message.
To send a message to everyone on the listserver: Send an email message to eq-geo-net@gsjeq.gsj.go.jp. Only registered subscribers to the listserver are allowed to post messages on it.
To send comments, request information, or ask for help: Send an email message to eq-geo-net-admin@gsjeq.gsj.go.jp or king@deoe.titech.ac.jp. Do not expect an immediate response. For more details about request commands, send a message to mailto:eq-geo-net-request@gsjeq.gsj.jpjeq.gsj.go.jp
with "intro" in the body of the message. Commands on the Subject line of the email message are not recognized. Each command should be on a separate line of the message.
